175 Fast Strike, carbs leaking ??

when i tilt engine up or pump up bulb, i can see gas coming out of carb on top of engine,,, any suggestions on what needs to be done ? thx Cat<br /><br />Boat runs great, just hate the smell of gas and the chance of having an explosion.

I've got a 150 fast strike that did the very same thing but was flooding motor and it wouldnt run worth a poop and when I pumped bulb gas poured out of one carb. I just bought a carb kit for 20.00 for that one carb and It fixed problem. You might be able to dissasemble carb and clean it but for 20 bucks it was a no brainer. It was an easy fix. Hope this helps

i've seen a few carb bowls warp it would be worth while to check them while carb is apart

THanks Bob, did he put the bb back in or just epoxy the hole without the bb ? thx jeff
