my max on a 1750 procraft is 150 HP so yea i think it might be toooooooo big. there should be a plate showng MAX hp FOR YOUR BOAT SOMEWHERE

Should have bought the motor and resold it.. I sell 175's and 200's of that year for $2500-$3000 all day long...While they use more gas if you have a biggger boat who wants a 115 that is running all out to do 40mph when you can run the v6 at 3500 and get the same speed... I will take that deal all day long from anybody that will ship me their motor's. Have sold 2 200hp. motors in the last 6 weeks. This is not my living buy a hobby that one can make good money reselling as well as installing for $400...just my 02.
