GOOD NEWS. . . . The PICTURE UPLOAD FUNCTION IS WORKING !!! The tech folks at the parent company have been able to remedy the issue. You can upload pictures once again. Thank you for your patience.
I just purchased a 1945 duratech model V12, serial #16113. How or where can I find the specs for this boat? There is also another plate above that one with a series of letters and numbers PAZ730481345. I would appreciate any assistance.
I think you are using the 45 at the end of the HIN to say you have a 1945. While that is true for a manufacturer assigned HIN, it is not true for a state assigned number. Nice looking tin boat, Tony.
There's some good stuff HERE too. I'm actually guessing your boat to be more in the vintage of the early 60's - I say guessing because I'm basing that on some of the images of the 50's models and some of the fittings on your boat vs. fittings on a couple of old 50's jobs that I've had. YMMV
Nice boat - as much as I like my bow rider, those open outboard types are hard to beat.
Thanks everyone for the assistance and compliments. I did notice the production years from that site and that had me scratching my head.... I was thinking someone transposed the year incorrectly. She appears to be pretty sturdy and just needs a good bath....so off to the lake she'll go this weekend.
