1957 Fastwin fuel filter glass bowl removal help

How do I open the glass bowl to change filter element? My service manual says remove bowl. No help. I am guessing it unscrews but I can't turn it. I see no other fastener holding it. I removed the yoke. Just can't get bowl off. In my shop thinking and waiting for a response across the waves. Thx

Man. You guys are good. Thing popped off no threads. Funny. Gasket inside fair shape. Can I flip it over to have other side seal against bowl lip?

The gasket has to seal on both sides, so both sides have to be in good condition.

Sometimes they just need a couple light taps to get them to pop off. If the gasket is no longer soft/pliable, change it. They are cheap anyways.

Have any pics? I have a few '57 Fastwins, I love that motor.
