1957 johnson 3hp sea horse

I was wondering if it is possible to find a drive shaft for this motor, or will I be better off having a new one machined. If any can tell me it would be of great help. I also have a sears 1957 or 58 12hp outboard with an electric starter. The starting motor is missing and am wondering if any one can tell me where to find one. The engine model # is 571.58901 with a Wico Y9312 Flywheel.<br />Thank you,<br />Ryan
