The faceplate piece that goes on the front of the air intake that the hi and low speed needles pass through and the choke pull knob passes through, there are two springs that slip over each of the needle jets, can anyone tell me how they go or show me a picture of how they go? I'm not sure how everything goes together. There are other small parts that are part of this but again, I'm not sure how everything goes. I know the faceplate is spring loaded so when you put the top cover on it presses against the front on the cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...

The spring rides against the face of the packing nut, followed by a metal washer, followed by the rubber washer resting against the face plate. The original rubber washer had a lip on it that seated inside the hole of the face plate. The metal washer's job was to keep the spring from chewing up the rubber washer. Same order for top and bottom needle valves.

Did you figure it out. I have a few '58 35s, I could take a picture if that helps.
