It is right across the top of the bullet portion of the housing, pointed forward. It's about 2.5 inches (that's 7.5 CM for you Canuks). It is a hairline crack. I am just having all the luck here. I did, however, finally get a compression check done. 130 on top, 131 on the bottom. I think I am good there. Everything else I am pretty much replacing. Besides, I have another unit on the way. This will provide good parts.

I was joking of course, and as Steve says, that crack is easily fixed by a decent welder. Im not much of a welder myself, but believe my buddy has fixed a few of mine TIG welding with Argon
