i got it running. it shifts fine and sounds good, but it doesn't pee. the guy i bought it from wouldn't throw in the manual (damnit) and i can't figure out where it is supposed to pee. i had the rabbit ears on with constant flow but it wouldn't circulate water through. i only had it run for 30 seconds at a time just to check the transmission and idle. there's a pretty big hole on the back of the motor where i think it's supposed to pee from, but it looks like it could be an exhaust? anyone know where i should look for the water to come out of? i'll try cleaning the foot intake and see if that helps. any advice is greatly appreciated. thank you iboaters!

I don't think you can run that engine on muffs, the water intake is on the lower rear of the cavation plate. You need to run it in a barrel with the water level almost up to the exhaust port on the exhaust housing. The water will come out of the round port in the exhaust housing.
