Well, I got up early this morning, and dropped my wife off at the airport (NOT related to the boat, I assure you

) , then got back home, wheeled the boat out, and gave it a good final wipedown with Eastwood PRE...
Then, I took a good hearty swig of Rum... To build up the courage, and pulled the trigger (on the sprayer, that is!)
The first coat is on-
It went on pretty well- The only issues that I had were from operator error, I'm still pretty new to spraying. There are a few drips and runs here and there, but not too bad. One bug decided that he really liked the pink, and decided to land in it- which was the last thing he ever did... He's still a part of my paint job until it dries
The color is what I was looking for! Remember, when the boat is put back together, the white hull will offset it a bit, so it won't be quite as 'shocking'. There's also a lot of chrome hardware that will dress it up.
I'll be putting at least one more, and possibly two more, coats on. Then, it's time to sand, sand, sand.... Then polish!
