I am looking for a repair manual for my 35hp 1959 Seahorse Model RDS21. Also if anyone has one they would like to sell, I would like to get one for parts. thinking about converting to tiller handle. now has remote steering and throttle and electric choke.Can't spend much. Only paid 200 for boat,moter and trailer and other half still thinks I paid to much for older stuff. She may be right but moter runs great after warm up, even if boat is junk.

I recieved a 1966 14 ft boat with a 57 evinrude on it for free and my wife thought that was too much. I made her a seat that she can sun-bathe in and she doesnt complain anymore. I fish, she tans.

Hit a rock and broke a chunk out of cavitation plate what can I do besides replace lower unit?<br />Michael

Hi, Baitkiller.<br /><br />How much of the AV plate is left? You should be able to make an aluminum plate the same shape and rivet it in place, or just weld a new piece in place.<br /><br />Good luck.
