i cant find a black wire with yellow strip. the motor sounds like its gonna start but doesnt it goes to start then the starter disengages it self and dies. could it be that i need to have someone squezze the primer bulb, while i crank it over

you can try that if that works id check fuel filter and pump, what does it do if you choke it

when i choke it it turns but doesnt attemp to start when the choke is off it trys to start but then the starter disengages. i just took the pump apart today and tinkered with it its nice and clean took all the plastic pieces out and soaked it in a 5 gallon bucket of carb cleaner and the same thing keeps happening im lost with this
