i've been running this, tiller control, and not very effectively. was ok with 2 people, but not with one. decide to balance load, so i could go out and not depend on another person to keep bow down. moved: gas tank back to stearn, battery under front seat, bought throttle/shift remote and Ezy Glide stick steering (cable similar to teleflex) on ebay. mounted new controls so i can operate at the middle seat. i could not believe the improvement, jumps on plane immediately, no bow rise, at Wot the stearn 3 feet are in the water, and was clocked at 25 mph. now i have a great fisherman, and a great toy, just for myselfish self.

Hey tas, don't be a knocking "your selfish self".

There's nothing wrong with having a fishing toy. Just ask me. I retired last year and bought a boat for just that....my personal amusement. Having a great time and one of these days (when the sand bass start running) my wife may even go fishing with me.

Mark
