1961 merc 150 (15) hp impeller pump tools

Hi , new to the site . I have a 1961 merc 150 (15) hp and I can not find anyone in central Fl to repair the water pump . I have the impeller but no mercury service shop around owns the tools required to replace it . Any ideas on where to buy , or rent these tools ? I'm told it take 3 deferent tools to remove the old one , and replace the new one . I would love to get this motor running , but running out of ideas. Can anyone here suggest anything ? That's why old Mercs are not the engine of choice. Special tools are needed for most everything.

Google "Laing's Outboards". I know for a fact he would fix it for you. (don't know where you are located). But maybe he might have spare tools he would be willing to sell you.
