I shelved this project for other priorities last summer. Magneto jumps strong and carb rebuilt. I pulled lower unit to do the impeller and the entire housing, driveshaft, and pump cover are covered in dry black soot/ carbon. Never recall the two QD 10's or the 3hp being like this. Exhaust leak somewhere and is it maybe the gaskets under the powerhead or is this normal.....? Ideas appreciated. Thanks.
