Hello to All;
My '63 4hp Evinrude will start if I spray fuel directly into the carb and the keep squeezing the primer bulb. I need to keep squeezing the bulb to keep it running. The fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb is about 6" long and is clear blue plastic. I can see fuel in the line but, there are also a lot of air bubbles. The fuel flow from the pump is barely a trickle unless I squeeze the bulb. My fuel tank and line are in good condition as I run my other outboard motors with the same equipment. The carb has been re-built and is very clean. Does this look like I need a new fuel pump? Please help, I need your advice
