I am working on rebuilding my Carb. I have the great article which is over the top helpful. Carb Rebuild Link
My question is: My float hinge pin is stuck, and it will not even tap out with a punch. There is a new float and pin in the BRP rebuild kit. I was thinking of cutting the old pin in the center, and then working out the two halves. I realize if I break the housing, I am screwed...
Any advice?? Thank you, Rob

If you hit it with a heat gun, and penetrating oil it will push out. You can see the varnish locking it in. Melt that varnish a little and she will move.

I love how on this 1964 carb, they just added the fuel inlet where the bowl used to be, but the bowl mount is still there..
