i have 64 yachtwin 3 hp. i beleive im not getting fuel past the carb. i just rebuilt it today. the float bowl fills up with gas but it doesnt seem like the jet is spraying fuel behind the choke plate. what could cause this shuld i try cleaning the carb again. it only starts when i spray fuel in the carb. And what is a good kind of rope to use for starter rope.
Thanks, Mike

there shoud be a plug on the front of the fuel bowl take that out and their will be a jet behide that. if that is plugged you wont get fuel. just be careful its brass and will break.

You put in a new carb kit? Did you attach the little spring between the needle and the float arm? Needle could be sticking and not allowing fuel to pass. With carb off, blow into gas line. In upright position, air should pass. Turn carb over and blow again. Air should not pass. Also, did you clean the fuel filter? It is in the tank connector behind the shut-off valve. Tank vent open?
