1965 Gear Removal!!!!!??????????

i've uploaded a pic of my old foot, and i need the clutch dog and forward gear removed....how is this done? The screw beside the drain hole is stripped, and i can't get it out all the way....does that effect removing the gears? I have the shift rod out already also.

The phillips head screw is the pivot pin for the shifter fork. Yes it has to come out. Do you have the big snap ring out?

yes, the snap ring is out, it was actually broken, and the other two interlocking washers or whatever they're called are out also
