1965 Johnson 40 horse parts/rebuild

Hi<br />does anyone out there have any good ideas as to how I could get a rebuild kit or parts for a 1965 Johnson 40 horse? Even a whole powerhead would be worth looking into... please email- passrdcc@nmo.net<br />thankyou!!<br />Craig

well...how about a powerhead, either new or in good condition? if that isnt easy to come by then what about oversize pistons & rings? The main problem is piston/cylinder clearance of about 3/32 at least. I only have the head off, Im not sure how my bearings are, altho I could detect no playjust by wiggling...<br />Thanks!<br />Craig
