was wondering if pulsepack part number 398363 can be used in place of part number 398362 and how the wiring connections are installed? which 2 wires go to sensor? what wires are ground, what wires go to coil and power into pulsepack, thanks

Re: 1967 pulsepack wiring

That question would force some of us to look up the part numbers, find out which of those number fit what horsepower and what year models, then dwell into finding out if they really would interchage.

It would be best if you isolate the two ie... What does P/P 398363 install to.... What does 398362 install to?

I recognize #398362 as a universal replacement powerpack for some of the very early CD model engines. I know of no powerpack that supersedes this part number.

The 398363.... I can find no mention of that part number in any of my books.

It might be helpful if you could supply pictures... OR... describe the two powerpacks in detail, size measurements of the packs, how many wires, the color of the wires, etc.

Well spoken Joe. The OP's should sometimes do a little research on their own.
