HAve just aquired this boat(Pics to follow) and cannot find any information about it other than the random mixture that google thinks is right. I am looking for links or pics of this boat, in any color scheme, it needs seats, but i dont know what the original layout looked like. Supposedly the motor runs fine, but i need to go buy a battery, and then we will see. ALso need to find out what the oil mix ratio is for this motor, Model number- VWB27955A

Any help is appreciated!

You might look thru some of the earlier models here, or Jim's iboats thread and see if any are similar to your's. But w/ out pix of your's it's hard to suggest a layout that will work...

2 helm seats up front & a bench across the splashwell/transom

Back to Back seats w/ or w/ out aft jump seats

Also this MontWard motor iboats thread should be helpful as well, but note that the thread was started in 2004, so if you have questions related to a post in that thread, you should PM the poster, not post a question there. After a 3mo absence by the original poster, old threads should be considered dead. Until the OP posts again...

There is a fairly large thread here about that motor as well

Welcome & I look forward to seeing your new rigs pix

This may be a similar Sea King, year & model unknown:

Thank you for the information! I really needed the oil mix ratio!, but i found the model number for the identical Chrysler motor, so this was a win! IMG_0446.jpgIMG_0447.jpg Will get some more pics up soon, this is what i had in the correct size to upload

Well, Im in for the long run, got to poking some holes, and found rotted stringers and floor, so it all comes out. Got the motor off and most of the wiring removed, but having a hell of a time getting the screws out of the cap to remove for a floor and stringer/transom job. Gonna move this over to A Restoration thread tommorow after i hack more of the flooring out.
