Congrats on the splash!

Yes these boats will beat you in the chop. They can handle more than you can though so open her up!

I just got this a week ago. (Aug 24, 2009) So far i was able to get the engine running though it doesn't idle. Will have to rebuild the carb.

I like posting pics & videos so im pretty sure it will be documented.

What a fine job you have done Azlo.
Nice to see the before and after photos so I posed this from the beginning.
Yea I been following along all this time as others too.
My buddy has the same boat but his is a 1967 with a 90 tower of power on it.
When the conditions a right (chop and waves) we pin it, standup and go for a ride.
Way fun in a hull like that at 30+ mph.

Boat looks great! 3 years in the making? Yikes, you must have the patience of a saint. I didn't even like the 2 weeks it took to somewhat rehab my SS.

Where's the video......would love to see her makin' waves.

Azlo, very happy to see the rig on the water...excellent work!:D:D

That boat has some serious unique style and there will never be another like it(until you get MBS).

I agree with EZ, these boats can take lots of waves so don't be shy about testing it.

If your prop leaves the water on a rare occasion you are doing it right.:D

Seriously though, way to go:)...this will be a great example of what a complete resto looks like. Enjoy!

Thanks for the compliment, with the help of Iboats man u will get it done. The only good tip I cvan give to any body is to think out the box with it. Unless u just want to get to the lake at any cost.

I like that toe kick/relief on the bottom front side Azlo. I think that will be a nice feature, well worth the time to put in:)
