i have no idea what you mean by that...

put a size 009 oring into port then tighten oil tube down onto it. The tubes are stainless and the pump is aluminum. Stainless attacks and corrodes aluminum. Old ports have a tendency to drip if you loosen the tube and sometimes no amount of tightening and tweaking can fix it. By dropping the oring into bottom of port you will get a positive seal with almost no torque. Maybe that is where the drip is coming from and you can use your boat without leaving a little oil slick from tilt. If you can eliminate the pollution then maybe the other problems are tolerable and you can just wait for right stuff at right price to pop up on ebay.

sorry, but i am still confused. what "port" should i be putting it in? are you saying to unscrew the manual release? or are you talking about the 3 hoses that go into the bottom of the pump?

you pump is old. If you loosened any of the tubes nuts then that has to be considered a likely suspect for your leak. Where the tube screws into the valve body is called a port. If you have replaced the valve body to reservoir seal then the only thing left is the ports. There is nothing else you can fix. If you can not fix it then learn to live with it until you can afford a proper repair. All other efforts will make your problem worse.
