well, I'll be picking up the head from the machine shop on Wednesday being that Tuesday is the 4th of July. Block may be going to them the same day. We'll see how the hone comes out.
got the steering issue all figured out. The cable is fine. It was just seized up in the guide tube. I had to drive it out with a hammer and the rod end? took a beating coming out. I will use a lady finger to try and open the hole back up unless there is a way to replace it. The guide tube also seems to have maybe been stretched. The nuts on it would spin freely before the cable was removed. After that deformed rod end went through it though, the nuts are a bit tight. I'm assuming it just spread that tube into an oval instead of a circle.
Also, Here are some pics of the fuel tank. I'm looking into it to ensure we have no issues out on the water. Looking at all of the vent lines and everything associated. Here are some interesting shots from under the front bow. definitely different with the forward facing seats. Also some questionable motor mount lag screws...
