1972 eska 1747b oil to gas ratio?

I have a 72 eska 1747-b and was just wondering what the oil to gas ratio is. someone told me it is 24:1,but i just want to make for sure.

with todays quality of oils, you can run 50:1. 3 gallons of gas, 8 oz of oil. 6 gal of gas, 16 oz of oil. Just make sure it TCW-3 rated.

My 89 aftermarket service manual indicates 70-73 motors at 24:1 using a good grade of outboard oil.74 on at 32:1 if TCW3 rated oil is used.I would think you could do 32:1 on your 73 with tcw3 oil.

i use 50:1 in my 1966 mercury 3.9 with no problems whatsoever. I guess its your call.
