1972 Johnson 6 hp

I have installed new gaskets and cleaned up my old motor. The problem is, when I installed new spark plug wires, I did not note which is the #1 and #2 cylinders. I also don't know which coil goes to which cylinder. Can anyone help?

Hi frizzell<br />With the ignition fully advanced. The coil closest to the carb(front coil)is your #1 or top cyclender.
