Is it normal for the housing for the shaft to get very warm during operation? I have the oil in the lower unit at the proper level. Another thing with this motor is it is too short for my boat and I was wondering if anyone had any pictres of a bracket mounted to a transom that lowers the motor in the water? I have a 16ft flat bottom landaue the shaft on the motor is 25 inches I believe. any help would be greatly appreciated
