I finally found a good used working tilt/trim unit for $150. does any one know if this sounds like a good deal. it seems like it to me. i have been looking for one for about 2 months. can only find the ones for the 60-235hp engines.

That doesn't seem outrageous, but "worth it" is in the eye of the beholder, so to speak. If it's worth that money to you, go for it.

It seems very difficult to find one. compared to the outragous price of a new one, it seems like a good deal. I am not getting old still under 30. but it is getting to be a pain lifting up the motor each time i go out. I go out fishing about 6-7 times a week. i go in the morning before work and class and sometimes after work and class. i always manage to get water on my jeans. then having to change them. I think this is reasonable

trim and tilt motors and assembly are real hard to come by even if it requires a 100 or so to fix it Id buy it in a heart beat
