1973 65hp Johnson 2 stroke outboard - waterpump rebuild

Hello all,

I am hoping someone can give me a bit of advice. I am looking to replace the waterpump (housing and all) on the motor and wondered if any of the kits here would work at all or will I need to spend the 80 bucks to buy it through johnson?

You can get the kits right here on I-Boats and they will work good.

so they don't necessarily have to be original parts for that year?

No. The after market parts should work just fine.
