1973 Boston Whaler 22 OutRage Restoration Question

1973 Boston Whaler 21.5 Outrage would it be cheaper to do ImRon or Gel Coat. I am new to this arena. My dad has passed this along to me and I want to get it back to a beautiful boat and slap a new engine on it. Anyone have an idea what I am looking at

Ayuh,.. Welcome Aboard,...

Fresh Paint is somewhat less labor intensive than Gelcoat,.....
The overall price would reflect that.....

Try to clean up what you have first, you'd be amazed at what a little sanding and buffing can do for old gel coat.
