Id email whoever sold you the powerpack and ask, then post back.
And yes no load on powerpack to discharge too is detrimental as far as i know

Alright been super busy at work. I'm going to call about power pack tomorrow. I ran a brand new ground. To be sure there is nothing funny there. Swapped back to my old power pack and no double fire. But once it warmed up it was unable to jump 7/16 gaps consistently. So I'm going to buy 4 new coil packs just because couple got some cracks. And another power pack. An hopefully the ignition system will be squared away and I can move on to the carbs
