So ive been starting my outboard by jumping it for a while and its been sitting in my yard for a week or two and ive been trying to get it started with no luck. after many cranks and no idle, i got it going today with a lot of choke and i got a good idle then it died. then i fixed my ignition and now when i try to start it, the crank or whatever it is goes extremely slow like one turn a second..... is this just because maybe it drained my battery from all of the unsuccessful starts?? and its like a three week old battery.... or do i need a new one.... any help is greatly appreciated. thanx guys.
