Actually, just replacing the powerhead on mine would be the simplest thing to do for an old guy like me. Anybody have a good one for sale?

That is what I did a couple years ago......bought a rebuilt one from Franz Marine. It was actually a 1988 Force PH and he set it up to work on my engine (drilled/tapped for mounting the distributor and changed the crank bearing cage for the dist belt). Wiseco pistons. Everything bolted up fine. Wasn't a cheap fix......but was done right.
