1974 Mercury 7.5 HP Thunderbolt

Once again I am a newbie to this and I would like to know if anyone out here has the same outboard as me and if so can you please show me some pictures of the upper cowl without the cover. As I said in a previous post I just purchased a nice lil fishing boat with the 7.5 but unfortunately the man I bought it from had no time to put the carb back together in which I seem a little skeptical and would like to see how the inside looks assembled to give me a better idea of what kind of repairs I may be looking at cause as we all know not everyone in this world is honest.

They have complete diagrams with parts breakdown of your motor. I have the same motor.

You'll be able to get all the info you need plus order parts if you need them.

Would you be able to show me a picture of your carb. I've been to 3 places and they r all telling me my motor has 3 different carbs. 1 guy said my carb was complete but I cannot find any other info on it.

i really dont know why this forum site is giving me problems it takes at least 10 - 15 minutes for a page to load up. I just tried to download a pic f my carb and hopefully it works.

You have to load your pictured to a photo site like photobucket.com before it will post here. See where you posted and it says ? It's looking for a site to find your photo. It won't post it from your computer drive.

Thanks I was finally able to download them. for some reason when I'm at home this site gives me problems opening up. Well here are the pics of my carb and as i said in another post I know it's a tillotson carb just dont know what other components are missing.
