I bought a boat recently with a boat with a 1975 70hp on it (70ESL75E ). It's a two cylinder t&t system but the motor is missing off it and the oil reservoir has silicone sealing it off. It is only bolted on by two bolts but I'm having trouble finding a replacement. I'd like to keep it original so I don't really want to go with a newer system. Can anyone supply me with the part number of motor I need ?? Downt have to be OEM , after market will do.

Also is there a diagram somewhere of how to power this, last 1990 70hp I redone I had to use a two relay setup that i hooked up to the t&t. Is this one similar ?? I'm not finding too much out there about this 2 cylinder setup at all.

Oh I know it wasn't a great setup as the trim wouldn't work too well but as I said I'd like to keep it original.

Thanks

OK, not the correct model, but maybe this will help?

Thanks for the help but I just whipped off the reservoir and looks like the p.o. opened it up before and it's now missing one or two parts.. I'll have to junk the t&t as ill doubt I'll find anything similar that'll hook up to the 2 hydraulic pipes coming from the reservoir.. I'll try see if the two trim system will fit there and so will keep an eye out for one somewhere locally.

Go aftermarket CNC and Panther both make good replacements for your motor. The newer 2 trim system won't fit on your motor.
