I just found this online does anyone think that this is a good deal?

A 1975 85HP with good compression and power tilt and trim, with the control and wiring harness for both, all in good condition and a reliable 3 month warranty, is worth $500 US on a good day. It is worth more as a unit in place on a good boat.

If it is not mounted, look for 1979 and newer.

It rather depends upon the asking price, the condition of it and whether you want one!

Don't blame you a bit, but move up to the 1979 or more recent V4 OMC motors so that you don't get stuck in a time warp.
