Alright I just picked up a 1975 Glastron V162 Futura for $200, knowing that the deck, stringers, and transom were rotten and in need of replacement. I have been researching the repair procedures on here, but would like to know how I should go about replacing the transom wood, maybe without removing the top portion of the boat. Does anyone know what the transom region looks like on these boats, I'm a little lost looking at it.
