Don't worry about that Glen; I'll be back on the water eventually.
But with what, I have no idea. I was just getting ready to strip it down and turn it into a center console since I found a little issue with SC's original design.....they really didn't support the front of the cabin very well, and mine had settled at least a good 1/2" splitting some of the decking in the process. So if anybody is looking at a 25' Cheif, look at that area real good! I found while investigating the mildew streaking on the cabin carpet immediately underneath the front windows. It really wasn't that big of a problem to remedy( could added some additional bracing and kept the cabin.); just had other priorities getting in the way. But on a good note, It did get rid of my wife's fear of boats since she almost drowned during a church canoeing trip as a teenager, and gave the rest of the fam a good bite by the boating bug as well.:victorious:
