I think 1976 Ignition coils have some cracking the ohm readings are 1.7 on my 200 scale meter no fuel to the bottom cylinder but I got to have spark first I've reset the points one was never opening looks knew condensers don't show shorted when i got flywheel everything was pristine the coils still had green paint on the pick ups ive pulled everthing off the top looking for a short ive bypassed the kill sw. It will spark both at times it sux getting old and loosing your edge if anybody can give pointers I would appreciate it

The paint should never wear off the coils.-----No fuel to the bottom cylinder means an issue with reed valves or bottom crankshaft seal is bad.

Ok racer it must have been when the shear pin sheared I've got it all back together ingnition coils was the problem got fuel and spark and nothing could it be the timing since the keeper sheared on the flywheel? I have no clue at this point

VOM "short" test on condensers is unfortunately not conclusive when it is " good" you realy need to load test them at high voltage... if never replaced try new ones or swap parts to see if the issue migrates.

point contacts must be clean clean clean !!!

Thanks Admiral but I have no clue how to download the information you sent I changed my ingnition coils took the points out sanded everything back together had great spark and fuel my flywheel broke the woodruff key month ago and I got one at hardware store with a little and I know better hey i would like to thank you for your concern and support its not right need a another flywheel I've checked eBay TBN it sux getting old anyway thank you Admiral I'll take all the info you can give beware this is just one motor 5 years ago I would not have to ask for help
