i took the guts out of my lower unit/gear box. and when i put it back together i didnt have the tool to tighten the spanner nut holding everything in. where can i find one, how much will it be and ehat poundage do i torque it to.

I would make one. I don't remember the torque but it is tight plus some.
wow im now just getting the chance to work on my motor now and im gona make the tool this week but i still dont know how tight to tighten it i tighted it last tim with a screwdrive as tight as i could and it seemed too tight as the motor wouldnt stay running itd bog down and tun off. but and help on ftlb
