1976 Glasstron 156 hull repair

I have finally finished with the inside of the hull repair; fiber glassing; new drains/plugs; new decking and am ready for the 'test cruise' -- BUT; the center piece of the windshield that leads to the seats in the front hinges with plastic or rubber in the window frame. Glasstron dealers say the only way to find a solution to that hinge is to 'go on-line' -- well, is anyone out there as an expert to solve my dilemma???

Can you post some pictures of your issue there camera guy?
