1976 Johnson 35 hp Model 35E76S

I'm looking to rebuild the carburetor with a kit and the bolts securing it are hard to reach. Can anyone give me a little advice on what parts I need to remove in order to reach the carburetor. Thanks

I have a 1978 Evinrude 35hp electric start. Assuming they are the same, you need to move both the starter and solenoid out of the way to be able to take the carb off. No need to remove them, just move them out of the way.

If you can post a pic I can confirm that it's the same and probably show you what bolts to loosen/remove.
