Hi there! I am not the most experienced boater but am slowly learning. So to cut to the chase; the past few times that I have taken out my 15' Lund I back the trailer into the water until water intakes are below water. Then before I unhook the bowstrap I start the motor with the warm up lever up. It sounds great and starts right up everytime, the only problem is once I leave the ramp and begin to put the motor under load it bogs down. This will happen for about 30 seconds to a minute then the boat will plane out and run like a champ. So my question is, is it in the fuel delivery system, should I clean the fuel filter in the tank and in the pump? Or is it a low speed throttle adjustment that I need to make? I appreciate any help that you may have.

Thanks,
Dave

As you have fixed low speed jets in the carbs it could be you have some crap floating around in the carb bowls. Take the air silencer cover off of it, get a spray bottle of premix fuel and squirt fuel into the carb throats when it happens. Or you can just hit your choke and see what happens. Keep us posted.

Once the weather warms up again I will see how she acts. Winterized right now, cleaned the carbs some before I put away, we'll see next season. Thanks for the reply.
