I have a 77 starcraft capri 15 was getting ready to put in new carpet then thought it needs new vinyl on side walls. To make long story short old vinyl held water and bottom of side ply wood is bad. so i removed them that is when i found the board that makes the bottom of pocket was bad to in spots. This board is glassed in but only lightly .seems just enough tho hold it in place. does this board have purpose other than bottom of pocket? thanks for help.
