1977 Thundercraft Resto - Need Some Help

Thanks guys.. I'm going to go with seacast but I will need to make a new piece to replace the inside shell I cut out getting to the transom.. could i just make up a fiberglass panel and bend it 1.5" of the outer hull shell of the transom to get the gap for the pour? Also will the fiberglass be able to tie into the rest of the boat if I use poly on the transom

Adhd lol one step at a time, going to try to get some kind of template going here and look into what I need to have a mold set up for the pour.. I've got a west marine store 2min away just havnt pulled the trigger on to what I should use..the ol thundercraft is itching to get out on the water

Yes , you will layup a couple layers of 1708 biaxle .. Make it a little larger than the size of the transom .. Make your template with cardboard or whatever .. It will flex just fine to make the curve .. You can buy the pre made spacers seacast sells or just make your own out of some poly pb ... gunna need a flat surface big enough to make the skin .. A piece of old laminate or plastic will keep the resin from sticking . I used an old laminate door set on saw horses ...
