1978 25HP flywheel rubbing

Got a 1978 25HP motor. Got it in pieces, noticed that the flywheel is rubbing on the charge coil. Took the flywheel off and sure enough I have marking of where it rubbed. Is there a good write-up on how to realign the charge coil?

Is it possible to post pictures of how and where it is scraping? That would give us a better idea of what you are dealing with and how others solved similar issues... I own a '76 40 HP and I don't see anything pertaining to such a fix it the shop manual. But seeing what you are working with can give more possible solutions...

Sorry I failed to take pictures. I ended up taking the flywheel off, and also the magneto and magneto plate. I found a plastic retaining ring/bushing that I was able to flip and that took care of my plate rubbing issue. I'll take some pictures next time I take it apart.
