I try out this newly bought used motor on the week end, I found out there is a problem on may be the gas line, the original owner had the same problem but he claims was his gas tank leaks, therefore, I use my other tank buit still the problem, when I start the motor, it runs for some seconds and it seems to die and I have to keep prime (pump) the gas at the tank in order to keep it running, actually the motor runs good, I thought it may have some leakage along the gas line, but I could not see any leak any where, I am not sure is there a gas pump on this motor? may be some one can give me some professional help here, and thanks in advance

Check the fuel pump diaphram (cover actually says Fuel Filter if I recall). mine is on the starboard (right hand) side of the motor. It has one line going into it. Just remove the center screw for the filter. The outer 4 screws hold the pump on. About the only thing that can go wrong is the diaphram. Easy fix if I am right.
