I needs some help finding a part. I have an old Johnson 25hp electric start that I acquired some time ago as part of a package deal with another motor. I have never run it as it did not come with the black plug Boat side wiring harness. The motor itself looks to be in good shape and it turns freely, so I am guessing that theoretically it should fire up I just need a controller. I have been told you can switch out the the engine side Black Plug wiring harness to a different one to make it work with a RED plug boat side control box. I do have one of those (Red Plug controller) but I am not sure what engine side wiring harness to purchase for the engine. Can anyone direct me to a site or part number to for that engine that will convert the Black Plug on the engine to a compatible Red Plug that will work with my Red Plug control box. The model number of the engine is 25EL78C. Appreciate any help. Thanks DF
