when running full throttle for about 1/4 of a mile. engine rpm's drop 1/2 throttle.
engine runs fine no miss no backfire and will not
resume full throttle even after sitting for an hour or two and does not have enough power to push the pontoon boat on the trailer.
but at times it has kicked back in and resume power on its own (rarely)
I put on a new stata and rebuilt carborators
and new spark plugs on it. checked fuel pump and fuel filter. I don't believe the gas bulb gets hard like it should. help!!!what do you think
any thoughts, or solutions would be greatly appreciated. becoming obsessed with this motor.

Try tightening all the clamps on the fuel hoses to prevent any air leaks, if the bulb does not stay fairly hard or firm replace it, also pay attention to the male and female fuel line connector.
