1979 80HP Mercury shock type hydraulic lift

Hi there,

Can someone please explain this lift system to me. I am wondering why I have a red, green, purple and blue wire. When I touch red and green she lifts up and blue and red it goes down. What are the other colours for?

Hello,
I'm not sure what happened to my last post but was wondering if someone can answer a question about my Hydraulic lift. I need to know what the 4 wires are for. The red and green together lift the motor and the red and blue also lift the motor. What is the purple wire for?
